About Sinead

Sinead like her siblings, has been playing music from a young age. It was only when moving to college in Scotland that folk and traditional music really started to have a place in her heart. Having lived in Galicia in Northern Spain for years, she started learning Spanish folk songs and traditional music from that region. She has recorded with various Spanish artists and played with the band Sog at the Ortegueira International Celtic Folk festival. She toured the West Coast of America in 2010 preforming live with the band 'As Faiscas' a fusion of Galician, Irish, old time and bluegrass music. She has graced the stage of the very famous Fiddle Tunes in Seattle, Lark Camp in California and did many radio shows and house concerts along the way.
